Sacred Valley invites you to connect with the Earth & awaken your energy.

November 4 - 11 ✦ Only 12 spots open ✦ Early Bird pricing available for limited time ✦ Optional Pilgrimage to Machu Picchu is available (spaces are filling up quickly due to high demand for Machu Picchu entrance tickets).

Join a small, intimate circle of women for a life-changing journey through yoga, ritual, nature, and ancient wisdom—set against the breathtaking landscapes of Peru. Modern life can leave you feeling disconnected—from your body, your truth, and the natural world around you. This retreat is designed to restore that connection. Over eight days, you’ll experience the chakras through all of your senses, creating a fully immersive body–mind–spirit journey. We go beyond traditional yoga practices to explore the real-life dimensions each chakra governs—from grounding and creativity to expression, intuition, and purpose. Through this process, you’ll release built-up tension and emotional residue, rebalance your energy, and reconnect with your most aligned, grounded, and radiant self.

The Retreat Experience

This is not a retreat you simply attend—it is a journey you move through; a space to step out of the noise, the roles, the expectations and gently, powerfully return to yourself.

Many women arrive feeling disconnected—from their bodies, their truth, their energy. Tired from the constant doing. Carrying layers of tension, emotions, and patterns they may not even have words for… only a quiet knowing that something needs to shift.

This retreat is designed as a pathway back.

Held in the sacred lands of the Sacred Valley, and guided by the wisdom of Nature and Andean cosmology, you’ll begin to attune to a different rhythm—one that is slower, cyclical, and deeply restorative. As you reconnect with the natural world, you begin to remember your own nature.

Over eight days, we journey through the seven chakras as a map of the self—each one opening a doorway into a different layer of your being. Through yoga, meditation, mantra, ritual, and ceremony, you’ll explore these energy centers not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. As each layer unfolds, you’ll be guided to release what has been held—old patterns, stored emotions, internalized beliefs—creating space for clarity, vitality, and alignment to emerge.

This is not about fixing yourself. It is about remembering who you are—beneath the noise, beneath the conditioning, beneath the layers.

A return to yourself in a way that feels clear, grounded and true.

Sacred Valley & the Andes

The Sacred Valley (or Willka Qhichwa) in Peru is widely considered one of the most spiritually significant places on Earth. The Incas believed the Sacred Valley was a terrestrial mirror of the Milky Way, known as the Mayu or Celestial River. The Urubamba River, which flows through the valley, was seen as a direct reflection of this cosmic river. This alignment created a "sacred corridor" where the earthly and divine realms were believed to be in constant communication. Many spiritual practitioners describe the valley as containing powerful energy vortices where the Earth's natural electromagnetic or spiritual energy is exceptionally high. The Andes Mountains are some of the oldest formations on Earth. In Peru, the Andes are more than just landscape; they are revered as Apus, or powerful living spirits that act as guardians and protectors.

Journey through the Chakras

The seven major energy centers of the body not only govern our physical body but are also portals into spiritual development. The chakras offer a pathway towards psychological, emotional, physical and even generational healing. Each chakra invites us to explore different aspects of our being, both past and present.

On this retreat we will explore a different energy center each day, starting from the root chakra and finishing at the crown. Through chakra-inspired yoga & meditation sessions, medicinal music & mantra, ceremony & ritual, art therapy, and visits & hikes to sacred locations we will cleanse and open the energy centers, allowing your body and spirit to open, release, and realign.

Over the eight days of the retreat, you will enter the realms of the chakras through each of your senses, to achieve a complete body-mind-spirit experience. We go beyond asana, beyond yoga, to integrate the powerful medicine of Nature and Andean cosmology and explore the different aspects of life that the chakras embody.

All of this held within the powerful energetic space of the Sacred Valley.

The Retreat Center

Samadhi Sacred Valley is a boutique retreat center nestled in the Andes Mountain Range. It’s impressive views of Sacred Valley make for an awe-inspiring vista from any of its public lounges and private accommodations. The retreat center is designed for you to connect with the area’s special magnetic energy as well as to unwind from modern life and fall into the natural rhythms of Mother Nature. The property has unique outdoor spaces meant for meditation and ritual as well as organic gardens from which produce is gathered for our daily meals. The whole premises was built following sacred geometry. You will stay in one of the chakra-inspired bungalows. A winding Kundalini pathway emulates the energetic journey from the first chakra bungalow, located downhill at the base of the property, to the seventh chakra, located uphill, at the crown. Above this architectural artwork is the Sun Shala, where yoga sessions are held, with a jaw-dropping view of the Andes and Sacred Valley.

Pilgrimage to Machu Picchu

An optional extension experience

If you feel the calling, this is your invitation to extend your journey. A rare opportunity to experience one of the most spiritually significant places on Earth—not as a tourist, but as a pilgrim. This four-day sacred journey is designed as a continuation of your transformation in the Sacred Valley… a deepening into the energy, wisdom, and living spirit of the Andes. ✧ Why is this a pilgrimage and not a tour? This is not a typical visit to Machu Picchu. You will be guided by a Peruvian spiritual healer (shaman), walking in reverence with the land, the mountains, and the ancient wisdom that still lives within them. From the very beginning, your journey is intentional. In Ollantaytambo, you will be initiated into the energy of the land, working with sacred sites (waq’as) to prepare your body and spirit for what lies ahead. This is how the ancients approached Machu Picchu. And this is how you will, too.

Machu Picchu Pilgrimage Details

 The Journey

This sacred extension unfolds over four days:

  • Two nights in Aguas Calientes
  • Two guided visits to Machu Picchu (afternoon + sunrise)
  • Integration time and return to Cusco
  • 1 night in Cusco before your flight home

All logistics are seamlessly handled through a trusted local agency, allowing you to fully surrender to the experience.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Way to Experience Machu Picchu

Most visitors experience Machu Picchu in a few rushed hours. You will experience it twice—and in the most powerful moments of the day.

  • First Visit (Afternoon): A softer, more spacious arrival to connect and receive
  • Second Visit (Early Morning): Witness the first rays of the sun (Inti) illuminating the sacred city

Guided by ceremony, you’ll work with:

  • Sacred coca leaf rituals
  • The energy of the Apus (mountain spirits)
  • Geomagnetic points within the site
  • Solar and lunar alignment practices

This is not about seeing Machu Picchu: It’s about feeling it and being changed by it.

FAQ

  • Is yoga experience necessary?

All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Practices will be beginner friendly. Yoga is one of the many tools that we will use during this retreat but it will not be the sole focus.

  • Do I need to be in top shape for this retreat?

This is not a strenuous yoga retreat but rather a wellness journey open to all levels. Having said that, you need to be in good health because of the altitude of the Sacred Valley and the remote location of our retreat. The average altitude of the Sacred Valley is approximately 2,800 to 2,900 meters (about 9,200 to 9,500 feet) above sea level. We will also be going on a nature hike that is moderate in difficulty. Talk to Valerie if you have any doubts or questions.

  • Which airports do I fly into?

You will fly into Lima and then catch a domestic flight to Cusco.

  • How do I get to the Retreat Center?

Group transfers from and to Cusco airport are included. The drive is about 1.5 hours. Coordinate your inbound flight with Valerie so that you can take the group transport vehicle to the retreat.

  • What type of food will we eat?

You will be eating deliciously healthy vegetarian meals while at the retreat. The center prepares its meals using its own organic gardens and will accommodate any dietary needs you may have (please advise beforehand). Herbal teas and filtered water are available throughout the day.

  • Can I room with a friend?

Of course. If you and a friend both choose to come on this trip, you may request to be roomed together. If you come on your own, you will be paired with another woman. (You can also opt for the Single room option.) We will have at least one group zoom call before the trip. If you meet another retreat participant who you would like to room with, we will absolutely take that into account. Be open and flexible. Sometimes we meet lifelong friends when going on retreat.

  • Do I need a VISA for Peru?

U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays under 90 days. You can check all citizenship requirements here, if you have any doubts: https://www.peru.travel/useful-data/visa-and-entry-requirements. Please note: A valid passport is required to enter Peru. Passports must be valid for at least six months before your return date to your country of origin.

  • Do I need any vaccines for Peru?

No vaccines are required. Some vaccinations are recommended, and we encourage you to consult with your doctor if you’d like guidance based on your personal health.

  • Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of any unexpected changes, which are always possible. Once you book your insurance, we will ask you to send us the insurance information.
